Studio NPR is a beautiful multi-purpose venue located inside a historic building on Main Street that once housed the City Library. The interior space boasts exposed, original, brick walls, concrete floors, and reclaimed (in the 30s!) wood beam and slat ceilings. With the wide open space, large picture windows, and historic charm, this space has a rustic modern appeal that lends itself to everything from weddings and graduations to Yoga classes, and educational seminars. It is an intimate, welcoming space to gather, build relationships, celebrate, and learn from one another. 

With 1100 sq ft of open floor plan, in-house Bluetooth projection and audio system, SmartCast compatible TV, and high-speed internet, the space is easily configured to meet many different needs ranging from photoshoots, meetings, and classes to workshops, seminars, and celebrations. 

Depending on the type of event, Studio NPR can accommodate a maximum of 75 for a seated event or up to 150 with the outdoor space included for a cocktail party. Please speak with one of our Studio Managers regarding the capacity for specific events, as each event layout and floor plan is different depending on the specific event needs. 

Studio NPR is adjacent to Ordinance One (the City’s first craft beer tap house and original Fire Station) connected by a beautifully reimagined shared backyard space. The use of all three spaces can be booked for even larger gatherings that require the use of the bar and outdoor space. There are many options for catering from local restaurants, food trucks, and area vendors to help make your event just as unique as you are. If you need assistance with coordinating these vendors, one of our Studio NPR Managers will be available to assist you.

Event Policies

Weekday Events (minimum two hours) – $100/hour plus 7% Florida Sales Tax
Weekend Events (minimum two hours) – $200/hour plus 7% Florida Sales Tax

The room charge secures the space for the hours you indicate upon booking, but you may be billed for additional hours if your event does not start or conclude at the agreed-upon time. The room charge does not contribute toward the cost of event planning assistance from Studio NPR Managers.

The event rental charge is all-inclusive: general use of the room, audio system, seminar tables, chairs, coffee maker, Bluetooth projector & screen, linens, and cleaning. We provide black tablecloths.

Event Rental Hours 

Monday – Friday (Weekday), 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Saturday – Sunday (Weekend), 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM

Rental time must include set-up and clean-up time

 Event Room Guarantee, Deposits & Payments

Events in Studio NPR require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date and the space. This deposit will be applied to the final invoice. 

Cleaning & Damages

Additional fees will be billed to the Lessee if damages occur to the space.

Basic cleaning is included in your rental fee. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file if the following is not completed by the end of the rental period:

  • Facility, both indoor and outdoor, as applicable, and bathroom clean and in working order
  • Return all tables and chairs to their original position
  • All trash & litter must be cleared from inside and outside spaces
  • Filled trash bags must be placed in the outdoor trash corral (located behind Ordinance One)
  • All food, decorations and items brought to the indoor and outdoor spaces must be removed
  • All linens must removed from tables and placed in the laundry basket
  • Damages may be assessed if any of the following restrictions are not followed:
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the Building or Backyard. All smoking must take place outside the building  and away from the entrances
  • Hay, birdseed, rice, confetti or straw is not permitted inside or outside the building
  • The building is historic with original brick walls, therefore, when decorating, the following items are not   permitted to be attached to the walls, ceiling, doors, trim, moldings or floor: crepe paper, tape of any kind   (scotch, duct, etc.), staples, nails, screws, bolts, and thumb tacks
  • The outdoor space has artificial turf, therefore, when decorating, no items that would cause the structural integrity of the artificial turf to be compromised shall be permitted, including, but not limited to stakes, poles,  etc.
  • Nothing shall be hung from the light fixtures
  • Candles or open flames are not permitted in the building
  • Dance floor must be rented and utilized if dancing is to be part of the event in the Backyard
  • Illegal activities or substances are prohibited on the property
  • Smoke and/or fog machines are prohibited
  • Parking is permitted in designated areas only
  • No animals are permitted, with the exception of licensed Seeing Eye dogs or other service dogs
  • No weapons are permitted on premises unless in compliance with FS Chapter 790

Event Rescheduling

We understand rescheduling may be necessary. If you are postponing more than 60 days prior to your event date, then your full deposit will be retained until your event is rebooked, in which case the full deposit will be transferred to your new date. Your new date must be rescheduled within one year from your original date, based on availability, If we are not able to rebook the original date, your deposit will be forfeit. Should you need to postpone your event less than 60 days prior to your event date, then your deposit will be forfeit. Events postponed within one week of the event date forfeits all payments. Some of your payments are non-refundable because of our staff’s hard work and since we were unable to rent the space to anyone else while it was reserved.

Event Cancellation

Events canceled in Studio NPR forfeit the non-refundable deposit and any payments made.

Meeting Policies

Meetings (minimum one hour)  – $65/hour plus 7% Florida State tax

The room charge secures the space for the hour(s) you indicate upon booking, but you may be billed for additional hours if your event does not start or conclude at the agreed-upon time. The room charge covers general use of the room, audio system, seminar tables, chairs, coffee maker, Bluetooth projector & screen,  and linens. We provide black tablecloths.
